Flooding

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims in the flooding this past week. Watching the footage and driving around has just made me sick. I drove by Osawattomie (SP??) yesterday and I felt awful. Hopefully no one here was directly effected by the floods. I know that we had the rain here, but were lucky because of no creeks and rivers running through our community. Alot of people weren't lucky. Towns like Osawatamie, Coffeyville, Iola, Fredonia and many, many more have been devastated by flooding. I hope that you and all of your loved ones are safe and sound.

I agree the flooding is BAD! Around here, in SC Kansas (Reno, Sedgwick and other counties) we had flooding about a month or so ago. We have numerous roads washed away by the flood waters. This is the worst I have seen it here. The poor farmers are either taking yields of 11 bushels to the acre on their wheat or plowing it under. It has been a rough year with tornadoes and flooding!
