Thank you.. feeling nervous.. Monday I do start the Optifast diet and have to go off my Estra/Test.. I am more worried about that than the lack of food.. the moods! so anyway.. Sunday My wonderful Husband is taking me out. for Steak.. I want to eat so much steak that I will be tired of it for a long time.. have not eaten Chicken in a while I figure that I will get enough of that after surgery.. LOL
Food god will be put off the pedestal.

Hi! You know, food is about our only social life except for me going to church. So, that life will become a thing of the past, and I think it will be hard at first, but oh so worth it! We went out to Stroud's in Wichita for supper tonight with friends. They wanted to take me out for our 'last supper' together for awhile. Strouds is famous for their fried chicken and pan gravy, potatoes and beans. It was good, but the last fried chicken I intend to eat for a LOONG time, if ever again!
I need to get the food god off the pedestal and put God up there where HE belongs!
Blessings and Hugs,
LaNeta
Hi This is my first ever posting. I am in the process of getting oked for Roux-en-y. I have seen my pcp Dr., the Surgery Dr., the psycologist, had cardios done, blood work done and I see the dietician Monday. I have been oked on all. The next biggest hurdle is insurance co. I am 40.1 bms, type 2 diabetic, high blood pressure ,high cholesteral and knee problems so I pretty much meet the criteria! I am from Mo and going to Ks. I thought it was ironic we are switching states so I felt I would like to contact you. Does anyone know anything about Dr Udobi from University of Kansas Medical center? My family Dr sent me to him, so I guess I'll stick with him. He is very informative and his staff is great. It's nice meeting you. I know you'll do great ( that's what I keep telling myself!)
