Tallgrass Topeka anyone? Drs in Wichita?

I live in Wichita and am considering having lap band. I am self-pay and looking at Tallgrass Topeka with Dr. Hamilton. Has anyone on here had him as a surgeon? Any recommendations on drs in wichita?

Solutions for Life in Wichita is just now starting to do the LapBand. I don't think there are any others currently in Wichita that actually perform the surgery there, and I haven't heard the greatest things about SFL just yet. I think they're too new. I've heard great things about Tallgrass, but not Dr. Hamilton in particular. Always about Dr. K! LOL Sorry I couldn't be more help. I had my surgery with Tallgrass...they are the best!! I didn't have Dr. Hamilton, but I met with him a few times with a family member, and he is AWESOME!!! He had done some surgery on my father at one point.

I too had surgery at Tallgrass but with Dr. Steward, but I met with Dr. Hamilton - he did the initial seminar that you have to attend. He's very nice and personable. He has also had gastric by-pass (performed by my surgeon). So he know's what it is like to be overweight and in need of some help.... Amie

I am meeting for the first time with Dr. Hamilton on June 12th I have heard good things about him and the staff at Tallgrass.
