I am a Bandster! I just got home yesterday from Mx. It was very different, but a good experience! Dr Kuri was great and I am doing good a little sore. Has any one heard of a support group in Wichita? Kelli
Solutions for Life has a support group that meets every Tuesday night at 530 pm. I am not sure how you go about getting into the support group. I have to join because I am getting ready to have surgery done. Look in the phone book under the business yellow pages under weight loss. They will have a phone number to call for :Solutions for Life - Weight Loss Surgery. I know you had the surgery, however, it is the number you call to get hooked up for the other stuff as well. If you get a voice mail, leave a message and they will call you back. If I can find my paperwork that has the number on it, I will PM you later. I have been to some of the support classes and they are good as well as informational.
Good Luck,
KD

I am doing really well. I had some shoulder pain but it is gone. The only problem that I have had is I guess that I am having a reaction the glue on the bandaids because my skin is broken out. I did call Solutions for Life today and they did not return my call yet. So I am still waiting on a support group. How are you doing? Are you in a support group? Thanks for asking. Kelli
Kelli, I am sorry that you are having problems with the glue. I hope you get better.
I am still a little sore and can't wait for this stupid drain to come out. I go back to my surgeon on the tenth so I am in hopes that she will take it out then. I do not belong to a support group so I am curious as to what Solutions for Life will tell you about their support group. I look forward to hearing from you on your success with the band.
