I am finally home they wanted to keep me until Monday but I said no way I guess my electrolytes and potassium were a little off but they put some meds in my IV and I was good to go this morning. I am a little sore and tired after the 3 hour trip home so I am going to go lay down. Steph

Well here is a little update on me I have lost fifteen pounds but I am not getting all my protein in. The meal replacements that we have to drink are so nasty that I am only able to choke one a day down. I am doing fine on getting my water in but that is all. I have gone thru a little buyers remorse wondering what the heck I have done to myself but maybe once I start on pureed foods things will be better. I am still a little sore where the drain has been left in but I go back to see my surgeon on the tenth and I am praying that it will be taken out. I cannot wait till I am a year out and can look back on this and think that I made it thru a difficult time in my life without having to turn to food to comfort myself. Steph
