Wichita Support Group

Does anyone know of a WLS support group in Wichita? If not, is anyone out there interested?

Solutions for Life has one every Tuesday (Dr. Early's group) so you might call them about a time. Also see the post below titled "support group" as we try to get together every once in awhile when I'm in Wichita. I've been trying to organize one for April 12, if you're interested! ~Tiffany

The one on Tuesday night's through Solutions for Life is from 530 pm to 630 pm. Just look in the phone book for Solutions for Life and call them. IF you get a recording, leave a message and someone will call you back. I am not post-op yet but I went last week and they give some really good information out. They are there every Tuesday night. that is weird. Is this an informational meeting as I literally just hung up the phone with solutions for life and they mentioned nothing about a support group for bandsters.

Call back and tell them that you are wanting information about the post-op support meetings. If you don't get any where that way, PM me, and I will get information for you. I am in the process of getting my surgery and I know somone that I can contact from within to get the info. IF you have ANY trouble, please let me know. I am keeping documentation regarding this stuff so that it can be addressed. KD

I have made plans to have a support group meeting at Panera Bread (Central and Hillside) on Sunday the 15th at 3pm. It is for who ever wants to come. I just want to get to know people who have the lapband.
