Well the surgery went very well. I got to come home on Saturday morning. Dr Steward was very nice and was VERY pleased with my fasting - said my liver was shrunk down and that makes surgery easier. I couldn't sleep much the first night because of the anesthesia but I slept better the 2nd night and last night I slept all night long. I am doing clear liquids now and can't wait for the next phase so I can feel a little full. I haven't had pain meds since the hospital... thank you for posting about Sherri and my surgery - that is very thoughtful! Amie
