Support group

I am getting the lap band on 3/22 and was wondering if there were any support gruops in the Wichita area? Kelli

YES! Solutions for Life has them every Tuesday. They are at 6100 East Central, behind the Genesis building. 689-5235 I am pretty sure it is at 5:30. I did not have lap band, but Dr. Dort is now doing lap band here in Wichita, so I am sure they will welcome you. Let me know if you want a "buddy" to go with you!

Hi Kelli - I'm not in Wichita, but I'm a lapbander and I try to get together with anyone who is willing whenever I'm in Wichita. I posted on the Yahoo boards that I'll be there April 12 if anyone wants to have lunch, dinner, coffee, just hang out....etc. We had a pretty good group going for awhile and then fell off through the holidays. CL even drove down from near Kansas City once! Any of you are welcome to post here or IM me if you'd like to get together on the 12th. I'd love to get a group going again!! ~Tiffany
