Making sure this is the right decision!
Hi Amie and Kelly! Good grief, just look at this, four of you having surgery this month!!! I'm so excited for you guys! We should be having a big party getting ready for all of you to jump over to the loser's bench!
Kelli, anytime you take control of your weight and your overall health and well-being, its a good decision!

Hi Tiffany,
Who was your doctor and what is your eating and exercise routine? Thanks Kelli
My surgeon was Jesse Lopez in KC. I just adore him. He has really taken great care of me! Where are you going for your surgery?
I exercise 4-5 days a week in a variety of ways, whatever strikes me. I walk outside, walk on a treadmill, do a stair-stepper in front of the TV, lift weights, use an exercise ball, or do an exercise video.
As for what I eat....I just eat whatever sounds good! LOL I really have to work hard to get plenty of protein. Its a conscious effort. For breakfast I usually have a cup of coffee, 8 oz. of protein drink, and 8 oz. of milk so I can take my vitamins without them upsetting my stomach. LOL I also had about 3 bites of cream of wheat. For lunch I had 7/8 of a can of tuna mixed with a little ff mayo, dill relish, and spicy mustard. I had a cheese stick this afternoon for a snack. I have a thing about being as normal as possible, so for dinner I have whatever my family is eating, just less of it. Tonight I had a hot dog, a couple of bites of sweet potato, and a couple of bites of peaches. I'm not a model bandster when it comes to eating the best-for-you foods, but that's what works for me. I also need to work on drinking more water!
Hope that helps!
