Hi Amie and Kelly! Good grief, just look at this, four of you having surgery this month!!! I'm so excited for you guys! We should be having a big party getting ready for all of you to jump over to the loser's bench! Kelli, anytime you take control of your weight and your overall health and well-being, its a good decision!

My surgeon was Jesse Lopez in KC. I just adore him. He has really taken great care of me! Where are you going for your surgery? I exercise 4-5 days a week in a variety of ways, whatever strikes me. I walk outside, walk on a treadmill, do a stair-stepper in front of the TV, lift weights, use an exercise ball, or do an exercise video. As for what I eat....I just eat whatever sounds good! LOL I really have to work hard to get plenty of protein. Its a conscious effort. For breakfast I usually have a cup of coffee, 8 oz. of protein drink, and 8 oz. of milk so I can take my vitamins without them upsetting my stomach. LOL I also had about 3 bites of cream of wheat. For lunch I had 7/8 of a can of tuna mixed with a little ff mayo, dill relish, and spicy mustard. I had a cheese stick this afternoon for a snack. I have a thing about being as normal as possible, so for dinner I have whatever my family is eating, just less of it. Tonight I had a hot dog, a couple of bites of sweet potato, and a couple of bites of peaches. I'm not a model bandster when it comes to eating the best-for-you foods, but that's what works for me. I also need to work on drinking more water! Hope that helps!
