looking for a supporting Doctor

I seen my PCP today and he is totally agianst any WLS. Does anyone here use a wichita area doctor that supports it? Thanks and good luck everyone. Amanda

I drive up to Salina to see my Gyn who has been my PCP for the past 4 years. Referred me to a liv-lite sponsored program in Junction City.

I am just curious as to why you PCP would be against WLS? Did they say why?

He said it was a motivation thing for people who are wanting to lose weight and can't - he suggest going to the gym and doing on a diet. If only it was that easy - If I had 10 or 20 pounds to lose yes I would do that but I have alot more then that! Amanda

Who is your PCP? There are proven facts that anyone 100 lbs overweight can not truly lose the weight and keep it off. Yes, there are some that can but the chances are very slim. I just can't remember her name. However, I know that alot of the physicians at WWFP will support you if you are a patient there.
