Orientation Day

Well today is the orientation I've been waiting for at Solutions for Life. I've got all my info filled out and ready to turn in. I've got a million questions, and hoping I'll have alot of answers by the time I return home tonight!! Oh yeah...good news! I've successfully QUIT SMOKING!!!! YEAH! (i've fought with cigarettes almost as long as I've fought with my weight) One battle down and won. I know alot of people were praying for me....and it worked. I can't explain the difference this time around, but after my first couple of days without cigarettes...it's as though the addiction I've had for over 20 years was just gone. So I want to put a big THANK YOU out to all of those that sent up a prayer for me. Miracles happen!

That's great and even though I don't know you I'm proud of anyone that can kick a habbit like that one. I wish you well in your battle against the weight as alot of us struggle with that one.

I really have to admit...trying to diet and quit smoking together is not an easy one, and I'm not doing as well with dieting as now it seems like I really need to put something in my mouth other than cigarettes! I'm not gaining....but I'm not losing either. Hopefully it will all get better with time! Thanks for the kind words...they mean alot.
