Support Group

Good Morning, Kansas! Is there a support group in the Hays,KS or NW Kansas area? Are there any WLS patients in the NW Kansas area?? Anyone interested in starting a support group? Sure would like some support during this "Nervous,glorius time". Lets get together and support eash other. Robin

Hi Robin! Unfortunately I'm not in your area, so I can't really help you there. I read your profile, however, and I know there are some great support groups going on in Denver. Maybe you could contact them (there's a list on Dr. Snyder's web page) and make your followups coincide with a support group there. OR, you could always start one yourself! There's none in my area either, but I'm about 2 hours from Wichita and go there pretty regularly, so I meet with my "banded" friends for lunch every time I go. Its worth the effort! I hope you are able to get something set up. I don't know how far you are from Hutchinson, but there is also a REALLY great support group there.
