Tomorrow is my 1 week pre-op appointment.

Coming down to the wire. 1 week from tomorrow and I'm on my way. It's been a long road since Medicare canceled my surgery in March. But I resolved the issue faster than I thought I would. I'm at the stage of apprehension now but I'll be fine. I've got to leave early in the morning though so I'm signing off.

OK it is now Sunday evening and I'm home. I got here yesterday but today is the first day I felt like posting. My surgery went off as planned there were no complications. I'm getting around slow but well enough that my wife is returning to work tomorrow. My recovery is faster than I anticipated and weightloss to date is Phenomenal. I was on a 1000 caloriediet for 7 days before surgery and clear liquids for 24 hours before. I was weighed on my hospital pre-op visit at 385. Day of surgery I was 370 exactly for a loss of 15lbs. My wife just returned my watch to me today and I need to take a link out. When I put it on I can stick my thumb through it. I need to go to a more comfortable chair now. I'll be back.....
