I am thinking that maybe this isnt working for me..... If anyone can HELP.... Thanks Christie Calvin P.S. I started at 266 and I am at 209 now should I have lost more by now....
Hey Dream! I've been wondering where you were! I hope you're done with surgeries for awhile and that you start to get your energy back soon. I'm coming up on my one year - October 26! I can't believe its been a year already....down 77 pounds as of this morning. I am SO happy with that and I get comments about it every day. Feels good!
Thanks for checking in with us!!

Hi Christie:
Are you noticing other changes besides the numbers on the scale. If your clothes are still getting loose, you're still making progress. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat. This accounts for the plateaus everyone has.
And it has been drilled into me that no two people will lose the same. So maybe you shouldn't be comparing your progress to anyone else's.
I hope this helps.
Hi Christie!
Sorry I have not been around, I had to have another surgery and I am oh so tired all the time lately.
Don't you worry one bit about that. It has happened to me and to others and you just keep doing what you have have been and you will see it suddenly fall off, then you will look at the scale, get off and on again and go wow.
First of all, you started at what is called a lightweight, so you will not lose as fast as others who are twice your weight to begin with. If you are exercising, pump it up a notch, maybe add 15 minutes on to the walk or something. Something else I read is that sometimes we dont eat enough, how many calories are you getting? Are you going to support group meetings. Let me see, all of this is mostly what I have read.
It will be ok, not to worry, you may want to go to the May surgery board also and you will find out you are not doing badly at all. I am very proud of you Christie, keep up the good work. ::hugs::
