Pre Op Testing for Lap Band Surgery? Dr. Kaniewski

What pro op tests are typically ordered prior to the lap band surgery? I am going to see Dr. Kaniewski in KC next week. For thouse of you who have her as a doctor what pre op test did she require? Is the testing in addition to her 13,500 fee or included? Thanks Melissa

Hi Melissa, I just went in for my first consult and I am schedule weds Aug 30. It depends on what you need checked but no, it is not included in the $13500. but she will write out a letter to your general doctor who will order the tests and that way it should be covered by your insurance..even if the surgery isn't.
