how many times did you have your band filled in the year after surgery?

I am considering surgery with several different doctors and am evaluating their packages......some do free fills for a year and some charge. One doctors office told me some people get their band filled 1-2 times a month and other people have told me they have only had it filled two or three times during the first year. what is your experience?

Hi, I went today for my first fill with Dr. K. She told me that it will take two to four times to get me to the perfect spot/fill. After that she told me it should basically last forever. That maybe at 3 to 5 years I might need a fill, but I shouldn't before then as long as I am following the rules. Hope this helps some.
