Question about types of RXY-

Hello everyone! I just got my surgery date last week- Aug 21 oh my...so excited. But I have been reading online and I keep seeing the different types of RXY?...should I have been told what type when I met with my surgeon or do they decide that once they are in th surgery??? Little confused. Tried calling my surgeons office and of course they are out of the office this week...EeeKkkk! Help please. Thanks so much...
