Hello Kansans!

Hello Everyone Just wanted to pop in and say hi. How is everbody doing? I am ok, I am starting to get a little more energy...look out world! I decided to visit the non-op board to see if I could at least try to begin a regime while I wait, we'll see. I will let you all know how it goes. {{{hugs to all}}}goodnight.

HI Dream, I was nosey and went over to the non-op board and they gave you some good advice. I am proud of you for wanting to do something since you are not able to have wls right now. I wish you well and pray you get some good results. Steph.

Hi Allice, Nice to hear from you. I have decided to go to Colorado Springs after much thought. prayer and consideration. I did visit Tallgrass and I was very pleased with what I saw and I met Rochelle as well. I spoke with the other woman, Barbara I think her name is and she told me that they would be applying in July and for me to check back around September. If I wait that long, I will need to re-do all of those tests over again as it will be over 1 year for the tests I have already done. I don't think I have that sort of time at this point as I was in the hospital for almost two weeks not long ago and only see things progressing if I don't get healthier. I have already made a lot of life changes and this is the next step for me. I actually started preparing for this last July. A whole year of waiting and then having nothing happen. Oh well, I am a firm believer that all things happen for a reason. My date for surgery is July 10th, I am beginning to get anxious so keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I won't be back in Kansas until late August early September. I think I am going to ask if Tallgrass will follow me when I come back to Kansas. I did request to be followed by the Doctor that was going to do the surgery originally but he declined. I felt a little sad about that, sort of kicked to the curb, but I am better now.
