as my surgery date (March 21) gets closer I'm getting more nervous. my surgeon is Dr. John Huse in Carmel. I've only met him once and that was at the initial consultation. my question is, will I see him again before my surgery date or will I just be dealing with nurses? I mean, I'm putting my life in this man's hands and I have a few questions that I would like to ask him personally.
It figures! Just when I get to a point in my life when I can actually go, they don't have one!
Did you do the DS with Dr. Inman? She's my surgeon too! St. V's or Clarian?
I wish they had added the sleeve instead of the crap band! Think of all the revisions they'll have to pay for when that thing starts digging into the stomach tissue!
2013: 20 Funny New Year's Resolutions
When it comes to New Year's resolutions, our family members and friends can get quite creative and even funny with what they resolve to do in the New Year. Here a few good ones I have heard along the way...Oh, and a few of my own!
1. I resolve to stop procrastinating about procrastinating!
2. I will stop sending Facebook messages and emails to my loved ones when they are in the same room as I am!
3. I will use my treadmill for something other than a place to hang my jacket.
4. I will not sit at the kitchen table in my PJ's all day. Instead, I will move my computer to my bedroom.
5. I vow to never take a laxative and a sleeping pill on the same night!

medicaid and medicare will only pay at a center of excellence. In indiana the center of excellence are not yet approving the sleeve with these insurances. It is on a case by case basis. Director said hopefully by may of 2013 they will pay for sleeve alone. right now rny, ds and band is what is covered.
