There is a wonderful lady named Geneen Roth who writes books, workbooks, & does workshops about the trials of emotional eating & how to break the habit! I think that would excellent reading material for your group. I know that personal, two of her books & her workbook have helped me tremendously.

WOOHOO!  Thats so exciting. I dream of the day when I get the call...LOL

I hear great things about Dr. Mattar. People at my support group speak very highly of him. Congrats!

Finally got a call from Clarian Bariatrics today! My surgery is scheduled for May 26th at 11:00am! All of the "butterflies" that i havent felt so far just flew into my stomach all at once! I also have all my pre-op classes on May 11th. I pray it will all fly by fast so i can get past all of this and start on the next stage.  

My doctor is referring me to a plastics in August and I am wondering if insurance will cover it. He assured me that he will do all he can to help! I just want this extra skin and the muscle that is torn repaired.

I just want to spread out the word that there is a group that meets in Greenwood that focuses on emotional eating.  We talk about what causes us to eat and eat the things we eat.  It's a really great place to come on get support with weight loss and eating healthy foods.  There are people that have had surgery to people that are just trying to watch what they eat.  If you are interested please visit the site below.  If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me...
