Hi,  If you get on St. Vincents website they have a complete listing of all the support groups in Indiana. And even if you are not a St.V pateint , the groups are open to everyone : )

Congrats! on ur surgery date and good luck, I went to see doctor bergman yesterday and im starting the process to have a full tummy tuck went thru care credit also and jeannie my out of pocket after insurance will be 3886.00 thats for the facitlity and the garmet and anethesia everything good luck. I got things i got to get done for dr bergman then they will send everything off to insurance wish me good luck..

Today is Graduation and I can't hardly wait. I have worked so hard to graduate from college. When I started in college I was so overweight I had to take fitness online and could not even do the activities required for class. This morning I worked out! What a difference 11 months makes! I am going to walk across that stage and give my speech feeling like a whole different person than when I started all of this journey. I bought a pair of heels that make me feel so tall and thin...something I could not have worn a year ago! I am thankful to God for making all of this possible. On to SMWC in the fall!

Dr Huse told me that also and he did write a letter for a referral to Dr Bergman and also a letter for the insurance company.  Good Luck

Thanks girls for the encouragement.  I first thought I wouldn't get it done but then got to thinking about the insurance knowing it would pay for the panni was a huge help.  I got to keep Lyn's insurance which is great for 2 years after he died then will have to look for some other insurance.  So I decided if I was going to get it done, I'd better do it now.

My weight is still 185-190 but Dr thought I was ready, in fact Dr Bergman didn't even mention losing more and Dr Huse encouraged me to do it.  Seems like my weight has just stabilized although I have had about a 7-9 pound gain since Lyn died.  I hate cooking for myself and find myself going thru fast food or grabbing something quick instead of cooking.  I think this will give me some encouragement also to get back on track.

I go Wednesday to see Dr Huse for a check up then surgery on the 24th.
