Topic: Doggies needing a home please!!!!

My Daddy had 5 doggies and one that just had puppies before he passed.  I have two puppies that are just weaned. One Male and one female - Chi-terriers.  Father is a 5 lbs. mini chichuahua and Mommy is a 6 lb. rat terrier.    They are free to a good home first come first serve.

The grown dogs are as follows:
Pippy - (mommy dog) is a 3 yr old female rat terrier.  blonde and white. Obviously not fixed.

Fuzzy - Male 1 yr old Chi - terrier with long hair.

Baby -  6 month old female minature Chihuahua... full blooded, no papers, not fixed.

Jack and Sadie - Brother and sister pair.   Jack is fixed.  They are 8 yrs old and are full blooded rat terriers.  They should stay together.

Red - 6 month old male Chi-terrier with long hair.  (weirdly enough he looks like a minature irish springer)  not fixed.

They are all housebroken but I cannot guarantee they will be perfect "potty" doggies for you to start with.  Anytime you transplant an animal... things change.  However, Daddy did have them in his home with a doggie door and they all used it very well.

They are free for love and are all very good with children.

I have pictures avaible on facebook if you are interested... just message me.

PS:  He had two cats too.  Just in case you are looking for a cat.   :)

Thanks!!!

Yes, it's great.  I'm sure you will get there quickly too.  Best of luck on your surgery!

The staff and facility are both awesome.  Very caring nursing staff.  A suprising number of them have had WLS themselves and are very understanding and informative.  The hospital is beautiful and very up-to-date with in-room computers, DVD players, etc.  Private rooms and baths.  The nurses can observe you through the window and rarely disturb you during your sleep.  I love Clarian North.

Hope you heal well and fast.  Can't wait to hear more.

I am only one, But still, I am one.  I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.  And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do
the something that I can do.

I have a big fear of getting really loose skin too!  I am also the queen of excuses when it comes to exercising.  I am too early out to struggle with food yet, but I am aware it is probably coming.  You are so right!  Simple is not easy!  We are all smart people, even if we know what the rational and logical thing to do is, sometimes that is not enough to overcome whatever emotional issues are holding us back.  I did get one of those exercise bands at Target with the handles and it came with an exercise booklet that shows what exercises to do to work whatever muscle.  I also have dowloaded a variety of exercise videos for when I am given the clearance to start "really exercising" I am hoping I can manage to start exercising regularly so it becomes a habit.  There are no good gyms close to where I live, and I can't really afford them right now anyway.  Send me a message if there are any workout videos you want.  I can usually find them online and I could burn you a dvd and mail it to you.  Let me know!

I know people in my support group who had Dr. Mattar, and they loved him.  I had mine at St. V's but if you have any VSG questions I'm here for you!  It has kind of been like I've been on my own here because no one in the support groups I've been to has had it, or many on the Indiana board it seems.  The VSG boards on here have helped a lot!
