??? Time off.....

How long should I be off work? I sit all day & do not lift anything? Let me know what you think & let me know how long you were out of work. Thanks Kristi

I was off for 2 weeks and then did 1/2 days for the third week. I might have been able to go back before that but I had some complications and spent the first week in the hospital.

I was off 4 weeks but Dr C said I could have gone back after 2.. I chose to take the time to take care of ME mentally as well as physically... getting used tot he new lifestyle.. Linda

I had surgery on March 22nd, was in the hospital until the 24th and then was off of wor****il April 3rd. But in all honesty, it depends on your body, how quickly you heal, if there are any complications, etc. I had age on my side (29) and luckily no complications. The first week I felt like someone ran me over with a semi truck, but after that, I felt great. IT just takes time. I would've taken off more time, but that's all the time I had with pay.

I took the first week after surgery off, but then went back 1/2 days the next week and full days the 3rd week (this week). I think it was a little much, a little too soon - but I'm doing just fine. Good luck to you!
