Happy Hump Day!

Hello to all my friends! I hope everyone is doing well today! I haven't posted in a couple of days, but I have been a little busy. On Monday I went to the ER. I just couldn't take it anymore. I felt like I was constantly swallowing something and I couldn't keep anything down. Well needless to say they knocked me out and did a scope. I feel a little better, but my throat is still sore. He went ahead and opened up the opening to my pouch to 15 mm instead of 12 which is what it was. I just couldn't see going to FL feeling like this! Anyways...enough about my drama...how is everyone? I am getting excited as well as my kids...we leave for Disneyworld tomorrow evening! I couldn't sleep at all last night! Can ya imagine how tonight will be??? Love ya all!!! -Courtney

well great your doing better....I need to take dr phone numbers with me today to find out about eds blood works...he was up more yesterday since he has been home....he walked some ways getting his blood work done...

Good morning everyone! Hope you all are off to a good start. I'm gonna be here at my desk all day working on a report. Can't procrastinate anymore on it. Just sitting here makes me so sleepy anymore! My friend from work is leaving for Disney tomorrow night too!! way to cool!! I will be in Mertle Beach next week... If they open the drain bigger will it go down faster??? make it easier to loose more weight?? Linda

Linda~ I think things go down easier, but I don't think that it helps to lose weight faster. I had to have mine dilated twice since my surgery. The first time I went in, mine was at 2mm!! I wasn't even able to keep liquids down. They dilated it to 15mm. Then 2 weeks later it was down to 7-8mm. They dilated it to 15mm, again. Karen, at Dr. Evanson's office says that the normal should be between 10-12mm. I am hoping not to have to have it done again, but we will just have to wait and see, I guess. -- Angie C.

Dang it Courtney!! Why couldn't you wait till I loose alot more weight to where I could fit into your suitcase and you could take me to disney too!!! I am glad you got taken care of, but sorry you had problems. I am doing good....still struggle to get my 64 ounces in...I hope it will be easier as my pouch gets bigger to swallow more...I cheated and weighed today and am down 50 pounds and feeling pretty happy about that. I even celebrated by wearing sandals to work today!! I hate shoes and live for the months I can wear sandals! I will keep you in mind while you are on vacation! When you get home we will definatly have to get together!! Have a super vacation! Everyone else have a great day and thanks for staying here keeping me company!! ((((HUGS))))) Marianne
