MENU after surgery............
Kristi & Cindy,
I went to the Cash & Carry (New York Street, Indy) and got 1 oz cups & lids. I would fix a can of soup (creamed...chicken, broccoli, mushroom, etc..just not tomato) and fill up the 1 oz containers. I labeled them, then froze them. I did the same thing with mashed potatoes and refried beans. I did the same with oatmeal...but didn't freeze it (just the fridge). When it came to breakfast, I would measure out 1 oz of cottage cheese and warm up 1 of my oatmeals. For lunch & dinner, I warmed up a combination of 2 of mu frozen cups..soup, mashed patatos, and refried beans.
I also ate alot of string cheese. Great food for on the go! I fixed my sf jello in these containers but honestly, didn't have much pudding durring then. It was just way too sweet.

I drank milk and ate string cheese.. sometimes I would have some refried beans but to open a whole can for 2 ounces was a waste.. I would have some oatmeal.. and if we were eatting out I would have some mashed potatos off hubbys plate.
Meals didnt come until 2 months out..
iT WAS A LITTLE BORING BUT i GOT MY PROTIEN IN AND i WOULD DO IT AGAIN in a heartbeat!!
