Hey everyone!!!  Remember when we used to do fun questions ... just for fun!!  Answer if you wi****'s for EVERYBODY!!!  So jump in !

Here we go....

1.  What is your favorite thing about summer?

I love the warm weather and being outdoors!  I love being with my kids and just playing in the yard!!!

2.  What is your favorite flowers to plant in your flower garden?

I just have a couple shadow boxes but I love purple and red petunias.

3.  What is something new you are doing this summer that you didn't/ couldn't do last summer?

I am taking up jogging.  I started it a bit last fall and have gotten more into it now.  I am planning to run a 5K this weekend!!  woohoo!!!

These are meant to be a way of getting to know each other a bit better and I try to keep the questions totally random and not about anything to do with food.  Once in a while I slip up.  LOL

I just want us all to see we have more in common than just the surgery.

Thanks for participating if you choose to!!!

Huge hugz,
Tracy

2.Peonies Peonies Peonies. Did I mention Peonies? LOL!

3. Spending more time with my eldest. Gonna teach him to drive & going to Holiday World in June with just him & taking him camping (just the two of us). For two/three years it's been all about my health, my wedding, & baby Quinntin - when for 13 yrs it was just me & Gage against the world. He's been oh so patient waiting to spend time with his mom again & I'm ready to set things aside & get to learn how special of a young man he's grown into being. I'm so excited for this summer. Oh & I'm one of his coaches for swimming for the Special Olympics Summer Games first weekend in June at Indiana state Un in Terra Haute.

Kristie,

Special Olympics has a new program for Youths under the age of 8. You can call the State Office in Indy to find out who is running a youth program near your area. And of course you can always volunteer anytime anywhere. I'll be coaching swimming at ISU for summer games... so come look me up. I'd love to show you around the different areas... and we have an AWESOME opening ceremony that starts around 6-7pm Friday night. Summer Games are always in TH and always the first weekend in June.  So if anyone would like to come check it out.... come on down!!!!!

1.  What is your favorite thing about summer?

I love the sun on my face...the beauty of the trees and flowers.

2.  What is your favorite flowers to plant in your flower garden?

I do not have any yet but I love day lilies and petunias. Hopefully I can put out some planter boxes on the porch along with a  few ferns to make it look inviting.

3.  What is something new you are doing this summer that you didn't/ couldn't do last summer?
I am looking foward to being out in the sun more....I was really careful last summer because my RNY was in June. I am going to be cautious still because I have MS but I am getting in the water and swimming as much as possible. Now if I can just get over the fact that my legs do not look good in a swimsuit!

Oh I like this one,  I have all sorts of new things to love about Summer.
1.  I do not sweat like I used to!
2. I will enjoy the pool this year and will really go swimming.
3. I can ride the horses this year.

I have begun to enjoy walking and plan to walk to my sisters a few times this summer,  she only lives 1 mile from me, but it is up and down a big hill.  I may try bike riding again too.

I am only one, But still, I am one.  I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.  And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do
the something that I can do.

1.  What is your favorite thing about summer?

Swimming .... I love to be in the water, last year we didn't have too much nice weather for swimming so I am hoping for a better years.  OH, and Yard Sales.

2.  What is your favorite flowers to plant in your flower garden?

I live on a wooded lot so I only can have shade plants, impatients, hostas, and yukka's and thats about it.  If any of you have other suggestions I would love to hear from you on this matter.  If I had sun it would most definatly be Dahalias.
