OK here's the info on Holiday World this year.  We can book July 17,24, and 31.  I really need to get it on the books before Friday.  Their calendar is filling so quickly!  Please post what day is best and the one with the most will be it.  The cost this year is $28.95 per person.

What is going on at Holiday World?

the 17th or 24th would work best for us but I'll try to work it out for any.  Can't wait to see you all.

For those new people that we have, last year was my first year but Jacqui gets us a big discount and has a table set up outside for the OH members and their guests to get into Holiday World.  You can venture off on your own or stay with your OH friends.  Last year I went with my family for awhile then met up with the OH friends for lunch.

It's really neat because so many of the people would not have been able to get on the rides prior to surgery or walk thru the park and now that their lives have been changed by surgery they can do all of this.

I am going to do everything in my power to go this year and take my grandkids.   I will work it out for any of those days.

How about we try for July 24th then.  It will give us more time to make plans.  I'm sure we can get the discount at St. Nick's Restaurant again for our breakfast buffet.  I'll check and see what dates work best with Larry.  If he has a big convention, he may not be able to accommodate us.  Let me see what he says.  As of right now, it's tentatively set for July 24.  I won't set the date until tomorrow morning though in case some more people need input.

Looking forward to this!  It's always a great time and I do love Holiday World.  Pat Koch has been a huge inspiration for me and has supported my surgery from the get-go.  She's an amazing woman!  The new ride, the Wildebeest, looks like so much fun too!!!!

For newbies, they have a lot of choices foodwise.  Grilled meats, salads and the restaurant in the Thanksgiving section with roasted turkey.  Yummo!

Of course they have free parking, sunscreen and unlimited soft drinks!

Hope we get a good crowd again this year.  I think we had 30 last year.

Me too. Can I bring all my girls and their kids?  The grands have been wanting to get to Holiday World this year anyway, and I have never been.  I would love to camp the night before, haven't done that in years either.

I am only one, But still, I am one.  I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.  And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do
the something that I can do.

Terry,

Bring as many as you want!  We have great campgrounds here.  Lake Rudolph is the WORLD'S BEST RV PARK and it's really close to the park.  I like Lincoln State Park too.

Holiday World is wonderful.  You have to come!  Especially if you've never been before.  I've heard the wildebeest is the best ride EVER!   I can't wait to get on it.
