Help! What has happened to my doctors?

Ok so I haven't been around in a year, haven't needed a fill. So I call Dr. Diaz *****placed my doctor that did my surgery since she left the practice. So I need a fill, and they say he doesn't do fills and that a nurse practitioner does them, ummm no, my doctors have done my fills. So after a little run around I find out he isn't even in the same office, and that now I have to go to the same office for dietitian, and then go to his office. I told them I didn't want a nurse doing my fill, so they have me down with Dr. Diaz, but who knows when I get there. I am wondering if I should just find a doctor here in my area, I have to drive 3 hours just to get there and really not enjoying all these changes with doctors. Any one else here having these issues?

Hi, I don't know what is going on with that practice.  I saw Dr Jones for my consult, and recently Dr Diaz and Dr Cacucci have 'moved out'. I am now considering lap band instead of rny.  Was told yesterday Dr Jones does not do lap bands.  I will have to call one of these other 2 doctors.  Well, I have noooo idea which one to choose!!!!  I wonder what happened that so much change has gone on recently.  Even the lady that I've been working with at Dr Jones office on insurance requirements has left!  Laura 

Yes, that is really strange! For a hospital of excellance something is not excellent. Dr. Gupta was my surgeon, and did a great job, until she moved her practice, I was told because of her growing family she was no longer doing bariatric, as it was very time consuming. Not sure if that was the reason for sure now. I did start seeing Dr.Diaz for my fills, and loved him, I have no idea about Cacucci. I still have to go to St V's for my dietitiacn appts. and then leave the building and drive to Dr.Diaz new place. I guess I will find our more when I go on the 27th. Good luck to you on surgery Laura!
