This is my first post, but I've been folowing the posts several weeks while waiting on insurance approval.  Well, I checked the insurance website last week and my RNY has been approved!  I'm so excited and can't wait for my surgeon's office to call with a date.  I"m hoping to get to know some of you as I move forward on my journey.

Welcome and congrats on your approval! You are well on your way to a healthier and happier life! I'm glad you've come out of lurkdom and introduced yourself. I hope you find that this board is a huge source of support and inspiration for you. We've all walked in the steps you are about to and have experienced all the emotions you are about to. So, hang in there and enjoy the ride, it's quite a ride.
