Good morning all...

I talked with Tiffany last night. Chance is feeling better. Yaye! Unfortunately, both of the girls are coughing alot now and RJ is running a temp. I don't know why when something as contageous as H1N1 gets into a household that they don't just go ahead and test and/or medicate all of them. At last word, Tiff was waiting to see if the tylenol helped with RJ's temp to decide if to take him to the ER or not. I hate it that I'm not able to go over there and be with her and the grandkids while they are going through this. If I got it too though, that would add to Tiff's worries by more than my help would be worth for her.

I've been able to post a few replies this week from work. Very strange. I just never know if it will let me post on here or not. Ah well. I've been getting my butt kicked pretty good there lately anyway so I haven't had a whole lot of time to post.

I hope everyone has a good day today...and I pray that today is a swine flu healing day!

Today is my Friday.  I'm off to Kentucky for a Cousins' Reunion.  All the female first cousins on my mom's side of the family get together every couple of years for an extended pajama party.  Lots of fun, shopping and sharing pics of the grandkids.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

My friend Pam's funeral is Thur..She died of H1N1. I know alot of hospitals are treating almost any flu aggressivly now until the H1N1 results are back.. Everyone in the public... who just cant stay sheltered at home... Keep your hand sanitizer handy and Dont touch your face if at all possible.. That is how the flu enters the body thru mucus membranes.. nose, eyes mouth...certain other body parts.. you touch once in a while in the bathroom even... so wash wash wash and use your hand sanitizer often!!! Cough into your elbow..or like Maddie does into her shirt.. coughs spray 4-6 feet.. unless you trap them.

Morning Hump Day Y`all...

Getting ready to head out to Dr Bergman's office to get my drain tube removed and anything else she may do. This is my first post op appointment with her. I'm so happy w/my results. Have to stop at St V's on 86th st on the way home. When I had my surgery there last week I left my wireless mouse behind & they immediately called said to come back to the nurses station to pick up when I came back to Indy for my check up. So gotta do that.

Dropping Gage off at his dad's on the way thru. We'll se him again on Saturday as Special Olympics has their Fall Classic at Wesylan College (off of 69). Even though Matt isn't able to participate we are still gonna go to cheer on Gage.

Nervous about tomrrow morning. Go see Dr Sutton. St V's onocology/genocology specialist about what we are gonna do. My pap last month revealed cancer cells in my vagina. They said that they were different cells then the cancer that was in my utuerus and cervic, so I'm really anxious about what's gonna happen. I was told by the nurse that more then likely it will be major chemo, so I'm crossing my fingers. I don't think I can emotional nor physically handle doing radiation again. It was so awful.

Welp off to Dr Bergman's.....

Blessings

Well, I'm at home for the rest of today.  Still feeling crummy so went to doctor.  She says I have a virus, but doesn't think it is the regular garden variety flu - H1N1 is not even on her radar.  So, that's good.

She doesn't like to give antibiotics, so told me to take Tylenol and rest.  She also ordered blood work.  She thinks I am dehydrated and anemic.  Had the blood work done - have bandages on both arms as the tech couldn't get it on my right arm.  Tech said I appear to be severely dehydrated, and wondered if doc was going to send me to the hospital.  That was never mentioned.

Anyway - I have orders to rest the rest of today, and even though I am contagious, if I get rested and am not spiking a temp, I can return to work tomorrow.  She wouldn't put me off work.

So - I'm eating lunch, and going to go take a nap.  Ugh.  I hate this time of year.

Sherri - hope Chance continues to improve, and that the others don't get any worse!!!

Lee Lee - Happy birthday BariBabe!!  Smooches!!

Linda Kay - so sorry about the loss of your friend.

Jodi - sending lots of healing thoughts your way.\

And, thank you Lord, for letting me miss the deer that jumped in front of my car on Mann Road this morning - it was VERY close, but I missed that big doe all the same.  It's a wonder I didn't have to go home and change clothes!!
