Help! Out of Town Band Help!!!

Ok What do you do when u think u need an unfill, and I'm out of town!!!??????
I had a stuck issue yesterday and never got better, I'm in so much pain, and have this gurgling up my chest it hurts like hell!@!!!! I'm pretty sure I need to get an unfill and let it rest but I'm out of town!!! I'm in Plainfield IN, I'm scared to go to ER and just have "anyone" poking around with my band...any suggestions?????
What would you recommend????

If your insurance would cover it, I'd advise you to go to the ER at St. Vincent Carmel. Explain to them the situation and tell them that you are going to be needing a new bariatric surgeon up here to take care of you after the move anyway. Have you had a fill recently? If not, you may have a stricture instead and would need an endoscopy to take care of it. I'm sure many of the other hospital ER's would get a bariatric surgeon there for you if you ask for one (if they have a bariatric program at that hospital..Community East doesn't) but I know for sure that this hospital would do that as they've done it for me more than once. Dr. Jones/ Dr. Diaz/Dr. Cacucci's office is right there in the St. V's complex.

Well I ended up calling Dr. Allen and he told me to come down asap...Needless to say my kids were NOT happy about the drive!!!!! it was 2 hours each way!

Got 2cc taken out and am on liquids but BOY DO I FEEL BETTER!!!!!!!

Somedays this band has a mind of it's own!!!!

I was so disappointed yesterday when I talked with Melissa and she said you was headed back. I was hoping to get a chance to meet you at lunch. We will get together I'm sure once you get back here and settled in. I have been so busy lately I have not had much time to even read other post let alone respond. Yesterday my one son came home feeling sick and this morning I have two so ...life continues, lol. I am glad to hear you are doing better. We have several options here so I'm sure you will find someone you are comfortable with. I love St. V in Carmel. Because of the Bariatric Center being connected with, every department is knowledgeable and equipped to handle our issues! The staff is very friendly! ttys.

So glad he got ya fixed up! What happened? The kids will forget soon enough.....hey have had alot of fun so far so this is just a minor glitch in the day. Glad u are feeling better though!
