I'm Home From The Hospital

I had surgery on Wednesday, and now I am home.  I didn't get a chance to be online much while at the hospital because I was feeling so icky, but I am up and doing better now.  I am struggling with some nausea, and pain and none of the pharmacies are filling my pain med because they don't have it in stock :(

I have missed this board and am looking forward to all the advice and support that I get here !

Glad you're home.  Call your doc and see if he can call you in something else temporarily till the pharmacy gets your other pain med!  Don't suffer.  If all else fails, call your local hospital and see if their pharmacy can fill it temporarily given the situation.

Remember to sip - fluids are important!

Thanks Holly!  I got your text while I was in the hospital, but I wasn't functioning well, and I accidentaly deleted your number :(  Can you re-text me (765-430-2238) so I have your number again??

Stacy,

You made it through...I remember the difficulties of the first few day and weeks from WLS.  Yes, it is one of the hardest times, but you will get through it!  Just take it one sip at a time...lots of water and walk as much as possible!  This helped with my pain as well.
All the best!
