Been MIA for a long time

Hi everyone

I haven't been on in so long. I hope everything is going well for all of you. I have been so wiped out since surgery that I have just been going to bed when the baby does. I felt a lot better today though and I actually had some energy. I hope that continues tomorrw as I'm going to the Brad Paisley concert. I'm still pretty sore on my big incision but I think I can do it.

I've had a little bit of a rough go because I had to go back to working 2 weeks out because I babysit out of my house and couldn't take more time off. I do have my aunt here helping me though.

So far I am doing well and getting exercise. I was 267 on the 4th of July and I was 231 this morning. I'm pretty excited about it and am starting to see some results.

I hope I can start getting on here more now, I really miss it.

Talk to you all later.

Ayreka

Ayrika I was thinking about you yesterday.  I am glad to hear you are doing well, the energy will return.  I can't remember at what point I started feeling human again but I am thinking it was about six weeks.  I had a rough start too, after having a bad reaction to the pain meds while in the hospital.  I think it made my insides sore to throw up so much and that is what made it take longer.

I became really aggitated at my recovery but looking back I can barely even remember any of it lol.  Rest assured though that one day soon you will wake up one morning and when you go to bed that night you will think to yourself "wow I had a very productive day today" and you will realize that your energy has returned with a bonus package and you will be much more productive every day for the rest of you life!!!

How is your protein/water intake going?

I'm getting all of my meds, vitamins and water in. I'm having a hard time with the protein because I've become pretty bad with milk. Right now I'm just doing as much as possible all day in between stomach cramps.

I go to Dr M on Thursday so we'll see how he says I'm doing.
