I have a friend that had an accident on her mototcycle on the way to work and some guy hit her and threw her into a ditch. She was lifelined to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. She has severe head injuries and possible a broken neck. They immediately took her into surgery to release the pressure from her brain and they removed a part of her skull. They will go back in at a later time and replace it. (that how it was explained to me)

Me, one of our pastors, and a friend went up to see her yesterday and pray for her and her family. She has been in a self induced coma ever since the accident and on a ventilator. Please pray for her. She has a 19 year old son and she volunteers alot of her time to our teen-age ministry at our church.

Everyone enjoy this beautiful day and week-end. I took my walk this morning and plan on another one later.

Kathy, I will keep her in my prayers. Parkview is a great trauma hospital, she couldn't be in better hands. I've seen patients recover from head traumas that I never thought would, so prayer is a wonderful thing! Please keep us posted.

I am part of a group called Motorcyclists for Jesus.. I will add her to our prayer list. I feel for her... I ride a Harley and am very leary of 4 wheel vehicles...

Glenda is not going to make it. It is just a matter of time. It is in God's hands now. She had an advance directive to have all her organs donated. She's been taken off the ventilator and the organ teams have been notified. This is how Glenda lived her life, serving God and others. Her memory will live on in many people's lives that she touches through organ donation.

Kat,
I am praying for your friend. I have a friend who was in an awful motorcycle accident several years ago and I saw how God worked in her body and brought healing. Emil and I will pray for her and for you and your church that God will lead you, on how to encourage her and her family.

Hope all is well with you. I haven't been on here much but think of all of you often. I look forward to meeting you someday.

I am starting in a new ministry. As you know probably, that Emil has worked in the Kairos prison ministry. I am now starting to work with Kairos outside, that will minister to the families of those that are incarcerated. I am so excited to see how God will use me.
