I have an ulcer

I developed an ulcer 4 months after my RNY. I was told that it was due to a minor case of acid reflux that I never noticed when I was 450 pounds. I was bleeding everywhere! I had to take Protonix for 6 months and that healed it. It is almost 4 years later and I have had no other problems. Good luck.

I'm so sorry you have to deal with an ulcer. My husband has one and has to take this chalky medicine that he hates but, if he doesn't then he has issues with heartburn. I hope they get you straightened out and feeling better soon. You've just had too much to deal with recently.
