Good morning all!

I don't know why but yesterday was an ouchie day. I ended up leaving work at 11:30. Sometimes, it just takes time to get all healed up. I had my follow-up with Dr. Bergman yesterday. I got the ok to go swimming! Yaye! We're going camping this weekend and there's a pool there. It'll be the first time I got to swim in close to 2 years! We also set up a consult appt in September to get my girls done. We're targetting doing them early December when I'm off for the rest of the year.

I hope you all have a good day today.

huggs..

Hey gang,

It's really  Thursday isn't it?  LOL

We are having a cookout at work today so I made a couple things that I knew was pouch friendly and that they would love too.  So, I am excited to see how it goes.

Hope you are all making plans for a weekend of fun.  I am planning to stay home and work on the house some more.  I am still unpacking and have been there 2 months.

I worked out again last night and was so proud of myself.  I have been making some great improvements and I feel wonderful.

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Hey all, hope you're having a good day. I woke up late, at 7:17am. Yikes. I think I just forgot to set the alarm. I slept really soundly last night. I must have needed the rest.

Today's another double work day. So was yesterday, but it went pretty quickly. It's less than a month now, until Maggie's birthday. I found myself in Hallmark last night, holding a "You're 6" Tinkerbell card longingly. Sometimes I just want to cry and scream, "This isn't real, why did this happen?!?!" Sometimes it's just a quiet hurt.

I'm going for an interview Monday to be a big sister. I thought that might be a nice way for me to get some girl bonding. I would never trade Mikey for a minute, but I do sometimes long for a shopping buddy again.

Big Hugs Linda

I think the Big Sister Program is a wonderful idea.  I had one when I was a teenagers and she was a wonderful mentor for me.  Keep us posted on how it turns out.

Happy thursday

Busy at work this morning, but needed to get my OH fixs.  I had a wonderful work out last night, meet up with Tracy and Marc at the gym, and I walked 30 minutes on the treadmill at 2.5 miles (I tried a lower speed and felt like I was walking like a snail, so I speeded it up, this is not much less then what I did before my revision.  I rode the bike for about 12 minutes which was little over 2 miles, and then did 5 sets of 12 crouches (10lbs) didnt feel like I did much on them, but that is all I can lift right now.

I went home and started getting some laundry done, loaded the dish washer, cleand litter box, fix hubby a tv dinner and I had ff refried beans.  I am getting burnt out on these foods, glad I only have one more week and then I can have some different foods.  I am inpatiently waiting on next Friday so I can have some fresh green beans that I picked myself.  I was told by my supervisor there should be more out there, so I may go tonight to see what is there.  I am freezing them.  I would like to get some tomotoes to can this year.  I have a few coming in on my plants, and got some banana and green peppers coming in.  I love to watch things grow in my garden.

We are going to Kentucky this weekend to pick Ashley up and see my babies and of course Mandi and Bub.  We are taking some fireworks with us, so the babies can have some fun.  I went shopping last weekend at Kmart in Gas City and they had alot of clothing items for infant to juniors on sale.  I found the cutiest little dresses for Kaylei, they were Precious Moments and they were only $2.40 per dress, that is my kind of shopping.

Hope everyone have a safe and wonderfful day.

Hugs

Good morning!!
Well, after about 3 weeks of construction I think our well and septic are finally done. They both finished up yesterday and now we have water again and can flu**** too. LOL
I tell ya, our yard looks horrible like a grater box went completely through the front and side and the driveway is a tore up because the trucks having to drive through it but, they did a good job picking up after themselves and cleaning up and trying to get the ground level. There is just so much dirt mounded up where they ran all the pipe and drilled the two wells, that it will take as much as a year to get it to settle down they say. So all my work on the flower gardens and in the garden itself this year can't really be noticed now. I stressed so much to get out in between rain storms and work on my pretty yard and garden this year and now it doesn't really show much difference. They went all the way around my rock gardens and vegetable garden and there is dirt trails everywhere. I mean they went all the way around the garden in a big square to put in the perimeter pipe. My husband says at least he won't have to mow that part of the yard. We have 2 1/2 acres so, he usually gets his work out. I am just glad its all over and we hopefully got it all fixed. It seems like we have been messing with this all summer. Honestly, it has been all spring and summer.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will fix it and next we will be going after either the old septic guys estate (since he died last year) and or going after the health dept inspector who approved the faulty system 5 years ago. That guy is such an unproffessional dork and a jerk. Ok, well enough of my bellyaching. It's a pretty day here and I am in a good mood. Hope everyone has a good day.
Be Well  : )

Hi all!
Went to the doctors this morning for my yearly checkup. He was really pleased at my weight loss and the way my blood pressure has gone down! I was pleased as well. It is so nice to get a good report. The receptionist was under the impression the weight just fell off immediately and that one has to work so hard at this journey. Wow...we really need to educate people about WLS.

Sherri, I am so sorry you had to leave work early yesterday. I know you didnt want to. But it is great that you get to swim now! I absolutely love the water and how it makes my joints feel!  I am envious you are getting your girls done...I want to do that someday as well!

Johanna, I wish you luck with your yard. I hope that the grass takes over and all is in the past quickly. I am sure you have had your hands full.

Peggy, congrats on your workouts. You are doing great! Fresh green beans sound so good so you have given me inspiration to go get some and cook them!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday and find many blessings in your weight loss  journey today!

Kristie
