Tuesday
Good morning all....
I woke up ~3...so not too bad. 3:30 (with the alarm) would had been better, but what'cha gonna do? It'd be ok..but NOW..I'm tired. Oh well! 9 1/2 hours to go.
I know awhile back that someone was talking about restless leg syndrome and it being connected with a vitamin deficiency. Anyone remember which one it was? Bill told me yesterday that every since I had this latest surgery (7 weeks ago now) that I have been getting more 'jumpy' in my sleep. I asked him if he meant my legs and he said my legs, arms, body. That it's different from night to night. One night, it might be my legs being jumpy and the next, it may be my whole body. I know that some of that can be part of sleep apnea too but I thought if it could be a vitamin that I'd try taking it before I ask my pcp for help with this.
I got the list of stuff that they'd like for me to train this chemist on here at work. For the next week..which, given that I work 4 ten hour days a week, that means within 3 days, they had a whole laundry list of things on it that I'd be doing fantastic to get myself through it. There is no way I am going to get someone through it that doesn't even know how to get on or use our computer systems in here!! And..they said that I could train him on two process since I'm 'familiar with them'. I checked. I hadn't ran either of them for at least 4 years. He has to take the computer training for one of our programs. I'm trying to talk the head training guru over it to let him take a computer based training for all of it...otherwise, my trainee has to sit in a class for three days! That would definately through the timeline of his doig stuff right out the window! So..today, I will be spending my time trying to reduce his training time as much as I can. With any luck, maybe we can actually think about doing some real lab work by next Monday!! Woo-hoo!
You all have a good day. Be good to one another....but most of all, be kind to yourself.

Good morning everyone!
I woke up at 8 this morning but realize soon it will have to be 6 again when school starts. I am looking foward to the fall semester so that I can get back in the swing of things again! I took the summer off and sometimes I regret doing it as I think being busy really helps me stay focused.
Sherri, I dont envy you having to train someone to use the computer system so that you can get down to the real business at hand. I hope your restless body syndrome stops and you can get some much needed rest. I have noticed I dont sleep as good as I used to before this surgery.
Take care everyone and have a great weight loss day!!!
