FINANCING WLS; difficult to get???

Hello, I have been considering wls but would not be able to come up with the full cost and would need to finance about half of the cost; probably through care credit or other.   I was wondering how difficult it was to get approved and if any of you that used financing options had difficulty.

Hi kendra. I can't help you with this since my insurance covered it, but just wanted to wish you the best of luck in your quest to have this procedure.

We got a care credit card when my husband had to have extensive dental work done about 18 months ago.  It was extremely quick (within minutes) to recive my approval.  I filled out my application online.  The interest rate is very reasonable especially if you compare it to other credit cards.  Good luck to you and nice to see you on the boards.

I forgot to mention that you may want to check with your surgeons office and see what financing options they will accept because not all of them will accept the care credit card.  You may have to go with what ever they accept but I am certain they all work similarly.

Thanks so much for the info!  Sounds "easy breezy".  *grin*  I know everyone's situation would be different but wanted some kind of idea.  If several people responded and said "ugh...not easy at all" I would know to seek other options.  I wasn't sure what kind of "hoops" I may be jumping through with this and just wanted to prepare myself.  I appreciate your response.  Congrats on your weight loss!  *hugs*
