Anybody in Northwest Indiana?

I am a week out....wow...can't beleive I just typed that....but would love to get to gether with others on my area!!!

I had my surgery in Chicago, but live in Crown Point!  Anybody else have a similar story?

I am in West Lafayette, but am pre-op :)

I am a week and half out (revision) live in Marion, we do have a support group here the 4th Tuesday of the month, (next week) at the local YMCA.  Feel free to come any time that you want.

You won't believe how fast the months go.  I had my surgery on Dec. 11, 2008 at Methodist Hospital with Dr. Stanish.  I live in Dyer and am down 93 pounds so far.

Wow!!  Finally someone close!!!!  I am a week and a half out and doing great!!!  I was not expecting to be feeling this good so soon!!  Is there a support group in the area that you attend?  Your progress sounds awesome!!  I am excited for the journey ahead...and especially the results!

I also felt really good.  I didn't even feell ike I had major surgery.  They have a support group at Methodist Restart Center on Broadway in Merrillville.  I work downtown so I don't get to attend the group because I don't get home in enough time.  You can call the Restart center for the times or go online for the schedule.  I believe they meet on Tuesday or Wednesday.    Feel free to email me whenever you want, I check on here daily to see what's going on.  Looking forward to seeing your results.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and invites....but all of you are so far away!!  Wish I was closer!!!  It is amazing to see just how many people have had WLS that you never knew about.  It is also nice to be able to find so many with similar situations, stories, struggles and successes!!!  I look forward to this journey!!!

I live in Fowler, Indiana. :) I am also pre op and my RNY will take place in early September.
