Hi Jodi,
First off, you are an amazing inspiration to banders. You have walked through many valleys, and still hang on. I can tell you from what we have experienced in losing 2 loved ones in 2 weeks, that I HAVE to hang onto God's hand to get through. YOU CAN DO IT GIRL, I have faith in you. Grief is in stages, and no one can tell us how long it will take, or where the journey will lead. Just know that you are a strong woman, and can get through it, one day, one moment at a time. Look how far you have already come.Feelings come & go, but facts carry us on. I have lots of inspirational things around me to remember that I am a beloved child of God,and nothing is impossible with Him.I can even be angry and He understands.
I wish I could help you, but with two babies to care for, my time is totally covered up. I wish you all the best on your plastics. PM. me anytime, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Love,
Ellen

Why is it  - that a lil inspirational message from Mrs. Ellen always makes everything so magical better???

I have had three people from here offering to go w/me. Then Gage said he'd come home and go with me. Also debating on finding my inner "get `er done" and going myself.

But thank you Ellen for the encouraging words. I'm struggeling so bad with this grief stuff, especially after having my dad's side family reunion this past weekend (it's reopened barely closed wounds). I'll get there. I know I will.... it's.... the path just seems rough and stumbly right now. But I'll hang in there because I know I have great friends like you, sherri, gail, dawn, cindy..,.. and on and on and on.

Love You Bunches
Jodi

Jodi,  I am proud of the way you are handling all this.  You are taking a positive attitude and trying to make the best of it.  That alone shows how strong you are.  I lost my mom 10 years ago to liver cancer caused by morbid obesity and medications.  I pray everyday for strength. I miss her soo much.  You can make it thru this and hold your head high.  Your Daddy will be there with you in spirit cheering you on and telling you how proud he is of you.

When you feel the wind blow across your face... think of it as a hug from your Daddy.  I do that with my Momma and it always puts a smile on my face.

Never give up and never give in.  You are an amazing person for all you have done.  Keep it up!

Mega huge hugs,
Tracy
