Blood work
I took my 1 yr post-op blood work at a lab here in town for my appt next month with Doc Jones. I had them send a copy to my pcp as well as Doc Jones. I just went to an appt with my pcp and he gave me a copy of the results and told me that my blood work was perfect. He actually went on and on about how good my blood work was and that every single thing was great. That makes me feel good. And about the bruising that I have had lately, he said that it isn't my iron levels. I'm glad for that, so now it's basically just my age and the fact that there isn't as much cushion over my capillaries anymore. I'm just glad everything turned out so good.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
Johnna,
I remember hearing someplace that the reason we're always cold is because when we are morbidly obese, the body develops more capillaries to feed all the extra tissues. When we lose weight, we keep those capillaries, and so we lose more heat than other people. If we do indeed have more capillaries, that might account for more bruising too, which I do hear some of us complain about.
PS. If you want to go Saturday, I can give you a lift!!!
Thanks again for the offer to ride with you.
