I'd appreciate suggestions and references about a good specialist, preferably a woman.  I can't go to the Breast Care Center anymore so need some help on this.  I have an abnormal mamo and need advice.  Noblesville area would work for me too.

Thanks for your help.

There is one by Saint Vincents on the northside I have heard good things about. I don't remember the name but I believe they are affiliated with their womens hospital. I hope it isn't the breast care center or I haven't helped you though. My aunt had great things to say about that place. If I think of the name I'll post again. But you can call St Vs and they'll tell you.

Kathy,

Wish I'd seen this earlier!! The woman I'm sharing my booth with at the fair is my best friend's mom, and she's having breast surgery at St Joe next week after her mammo came up abnormal and the biopsy showed some pre cancerous stuff they want to get removed.  She has been working with the Higgins Breast Center there at St Joe, and I can get her dr's name/number for you tomorrow if you'd like.  I know the doctor doing her surgery is a breast specialist who comes up from Indy every other Friday.  I'll see what I can find out for you!

Kathy,

I don't know about the Dr's in Indy but I wanted to throw something out there for you.  Abnormal Mammograms happen all the time it doesn't mean anything it wrong so don't start "freaking out" until you have all the fact, ok honey?  My Mom's has an abnormal Mammo every 6 mos for YEARS and nothing has been wrong when they do the follow-up.

Huggs to you - hope you find a wonderful Dr.

Thanks gals for your replies.  I would like that info from you Amy, even tho my nurse found me a specialist at Clarion North.  It was good chatting with you the other night.  You look smokin hot and I love your hair.

Back to all the replies.  Thanks for your help.  Frankie, I'm not freaking out but have had a problem in the past.  Thanks for caring to all of you.
