Prayers for Terry and Lyn

Terry left me a message today. Things aren't going so great. Lyn's blood culture did come back negative, so that's good. The antibiotics are working. Problem is, Lyn's blood count dropped from 10 to 7 today. They aren't sure if/where he is bleeding. They talked about doing a CT to evaluate bleeding. The doctor isn't real gung ho about doing that, because she doesn't feel they would do surgery anyway, no matter what the CT showed. Terry would like the CT to see if it shows anything and then make a decision about surgery then.

She sounded tired. She admitted to not eating well, doing lots of munching, etc. She said the cafeteria doesn't offer the best options. Please pray for them to determine where the bleeding is coming from. They are giving him 2 units of blood tonight. They hope that whatever caused the blood count to drop has stopped and that the 2 units of blood will replenish his counts and things will stay stable from here on out.

I have not gotten up there to see her, may try to go up tomorrow evening. If anyone else is able, I'm sure she could use a hug. If anyone wants to call her, PM me and I can pass along her cell number.

She and Lyn will be in my thoughts and prayers.  She is one special person.

Sherri, they are at the VA. I am going to call her today and touch base. WIll pass along all the prayers!
