With any luck I'll be motoring around the halls and get to go home in the minimum amount of time. I am planning on bringing my laptop with me, some sweat pants or pajama pants, girly stuff(worst week ever for surgery), and stuff to wash my hair and do it with. Any other suggestions? Its not like its a holiday stay or anything

slippers or slip on/off shoes for all that walking, chapstick for those seriously dry lips you will have, and a positive attitude. you will do great. Sounds like you have most of your stuff all set!

I didn't use most of what I brought with me!  The one thing you do not want to forget is chap stick.  Your lips will be extremely dry.  I brought jammie pants, but never used 'em.  I didn't use my slippers either.  I wore the slipper sox the hospital gave me.

Good luck!

You might consider taking your own pillow. I personally hated the pillows there - but maybe im too picky!! LOL.  I took a few magazines and a book and chapstick!! At St. V's they had shampoo/conditioner, soap, toothbrush and tooth paste there for you....so I only took an outfit to go home in.  I never wore the shoes I brought.  I just wore the slipper socks they gave me.  I took my laptop, but never used it.  Between the meds that made me sleep, and walking and then trying to eat/drink, I was busy!! LOL.

Good luck!!
