gall bladder????

i have a question.... how many have had to have their gall bladder removed after rny???  did you call your bypass surgeon or your pcp???  i am having some issues and i think that may be what it is...thanks in advance for any help!!!

I haven't had trouble, but I think I'd call my RNY surgeon. Wouldn't want anyone else in there messing around with all of my new plumbing. Just my opinion though.

Dr. Gupta told me that it will most definately happen.  RNYers lose their gall bladders at some point.  Mine has acted up quite a bit in the past couple months but I am waiting it out.  She also told me that the best thing to do it is go to your surgeon for it because they know exactly how your new insides should look.  Unfortunately for me, she is leaving St. V at the end of the month.  So, I am going to be switching to Dr. C... I hope.

thanks something had been bothering me and i didnt know what it was so i went to my pcp, and now i have to have another scan done next week here.... i guess i should have called dr jones whoops.... i guess i will call her at the beginning of the week and let them know what is going on...

is it easier to have them do it, i mean quicker? it has already been a week and now i have to wait until tuesday to have another scan, then another 2-3 days before i would know the results... blahblah blah... all that crap. i dont know if i can make it that much longer!!!!
