New lil baby story!!
I have to share the story of our new little baby (kitten). My son and his girlfriend called me from her parents house last Sunday. My son was almost in tears when he told me the story about the 3 wk old kittens that a wild mother cat had under their porch. Well, their 8 yr old grandson was able to catch 2 of the kittens and he decided to put them under a metal flower pot on their concrete front porch. That was Friday, two days prior to my son finding them on Sunday. One kitten was gone and the other one was so sick and weak, it had a scab over its left eye and my son thought its eye was gone. He called me (knowing how much of a cat lover I am) and said, "Mom I'm so sad, I want to help this kitten what do we do?" I told him we would be over there to get it and take it to the vet on an emergency. So, we did and the doc actually just pulled the scab off of the eye and it was infected but, he said he thought we could save the eye but, it would be blind. It has been a week now and we put antibiotic medicine in his eye 4 times a day and have been feeding him kitten formula (I had no idea they even had that sort of thing) from a little bitty feeding bottle. He keeps biting the nipple off so, I may try hand feeding him some can food soon.I am so happy to say that he is running around our house and meoooooooooooowing like crazy!! He is such a cutie patootie!! He is yellow and white and yes, the eye looks like someone with a cataract so he will be blind in that eye and we will need to keep him in as a house cat. My two outdoor cats won't like that because they like to come in some.
Get this, his name came from my 2 yr old grandson who calls kitty cats OW for MEOW. So, because of that and the fact that he has an owie on his eye, we have named him OWIE and call him OW for short. isn't that cute? We have been keeping him in a little cat carrier so he doesn't get out in the house and get hurt somewhere and when we go to put him back in his little house, my grandson say's "OW, IN". LOL He will probably be the best cat we've ever had!

haha!! My kids do seem to bring home a lot of other teenagers but, we send them back and they keep coming over!! LOL
My son, when he was a teen had a lot of friends and they wanted to keep coming over but, I kept sending them home. hehe My daughter is 15 so, we usually have the friends over at our house too. I guess we are the cool parents. That's because they don't see the other side of us.
Your puppy sounds sweet!
