anemic

Well my labs from the dr office yesterday came back and I'm anemic. It's not horrible, but they want to check my iron levels and see how they are. Anyone have experience with that?

Be sure to track your Ferritin.  My Hgb is normal but my ferritin is on the low side.  Your ferritin tells you how much iron is stored in your body and you will see a drop in that before you see a drop in your hgb.  The last I knew it was not a standard test that Evanson orders, but I've called and gotten it added to my yearly labs.

I am anemic and have been for years i take iron tablets for this.
It has went up sice not having the horrible periods.
