marvelous Monday

Good morning all
Im up and on the way to the dentist i have an appt and so do the boys..
Went to the fireworks last night and they were wonderful and it was mine and Neils 18th anniversary..
We went to a cookout Saturday and then the fireworks and the alternator went out of my vehicle my dad fixed it for me yest ..
At the cookout i thought i was drinking sugar free punch but you will never beleive what it was..
moonshine punch  omg i learned never trust a grinning redneck and their smiling wivws,wow im glad i dont like punch i took 2 drinks (no gulps)  but it hadsome punch and it burnt my pouch  so from now on if it dont come out of a bottle that i break the seal on i dont drink it..
I enjoyed texting with everyone over the weekend

What all do they use for punch moonshine? Different fruits?? I think the smoothest home grown thing I ever had was dandlilion wine. That's been several years ago. All the moonshines I've ever tried were always way to strong for me...and that was PRE-OP. Can you imagine what they'd do to me now????

It sounds like you & Neil had a good time for your anniversary. I'm so glad!!

Well its Monday and the last day of my four day weekend. It may sound luxurious, but I worked in my workshop all day yesterday since it rained and was chilly ( too chilly for swimming anyway) to be outside much.  I did get 9 cakes made-3 were special orders for a baby shower. We grilled yesterday and my band was very non-compliant all day!  Nothing would stay down. Have an appt with Dr Thursday.....hoping it resolves before that though!  Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Christy, can't find the post about your MIL but you're all in my prayers.  Take it one step at a time.  This is so tragic.  And it broke my heart to hear about your conversations with your dad.  My grandma on my dad's side was the same way.  She had alzheimers and it was terrible for all of us to watch her go through that and deal with the family dynamics of it.

Sherri, I'm so happy that you are healing so well and have such positive news about your recovery.   No one deserves it more than you do.  Can't wait to see your belly button.  Sending los of love and big hugs your way.
