First few days home...
Surgery was Wednesday and went well. I was nauseous Thursday night so they kept me until Friday morning. So, im not feeling too too overwhelmed at this point, but im also not doing alot. I havent started protein shakes as of yet, and im been trying to get my vitamins in, but my main focus is water.
Has anyone had a blood clot? I dont think I have one, but im worried about it.

Welcome to the other side! I am so glad it all went well for you. I did not have a blood clot but worried about it so much. I just made sure to educate myself on all the signs, walk and walk some more, do my Lovenox injections and wear my compression hose. I will be praying for you along your journey. Take care and be good to yourself during this time!
Jamie,
Congrats on being on the other side. Provided you are walking and doing your lovenox injections, you should have no problem with clots. You'll KNOW something is wrong if you have one. No pain breathing or pain with swelling in your legs and you should be fine.

Jamie!!! WELOME TO THE LOSER'S BENCH!
It is such an amazing journey. You will be so glad you did this. It might be a while but I was already glad I did when I was about 6 weeks out. So keep your chin up and do what they have told ya to do. You will do great.
Keep on walking and moving and you will do fine. I had it in the back of my mind about the clots but kept on the move so it was much less likely to happen. And I was just fine.
Good luck girlie!! Keep us informed on how you are doing!
Huge hugs,
Tracy

Until you get to your protien shakes try sipping milk.... & Water.. just keep the liquids.. the most important thing is to keep hydrated... Walking will keep the blood cots away and look for the signs they gave ya.. worry is natural actually fretting is normal but try not to ... relax and sip sip sip.. youll be fine..
