The 4th
What are everyone's plans for the fourth. I want to mostly relax around home. Next Friday we are going to Seattle to visit my dght and her family. Yeah! It's time to spoil my grandson. We are going to the concert and fireworks at Purdue with our son and his girl. Every one have a fabulous fourth . I am excited to see how much better I will fit in those little airplane sits! Wendy
Wendy, I am working the 4th. It's fine though cause we don't normally go anywhere. My addition puts off enough fireworks to satisfy my kids so we don't have to go anywhere. I will be at work from 7p-7a. Hope you have a nice time in Seattle visiting your family. Grandmas are so good at spoiling their grandkids!

Now, I don't think they've updated this for awhile, because the Clermont Drive In went out of business 2 years ago. But I do know that Centerbrook and Tibbs are still active!

We have a busy weekend planned. We're cleaning the house and fumigating it. Troy had a brown recluse on his shirt right before bed. Guess that's why I'm still up. I can't sleep because I keep thinking about that dang spider! I know most bug stuff doesn't work on recluse spiders but it will make me feel better about it anyway. We'll be picking more blackberries tomorrow as well. (I guess I mean later today really. It's 3:30 a.m. in Rockport). On Saturday we'll do what we usually do on the fourth...canning! Troy and our daughter and I will be making blackberry jam, bread and butter pickles and peach preserves. We'll also freeze some peaches and blueberries from the orchard. I found sf recipes for the jam, pickles and preserves. I hope they turn out ok. I've always made the full sugar stuff before and had to give it all away last year. I won't do that again! Sunday we're going to church then to a cookout at our best friends' house. They have a party every 5th of July with lots of food and fireworks. The kids swim. It's always a great time! I took Monday off too so I'm taking the baby girl to Holiday World. I'll be pooped by the time I return to work but it will be a good pooped. Hope everyone has a happy fourth!

Oh no...brown recluse are no fun! Had serious prob with them in Florida......be careful with those buggers...their bites are nasty! I had standing perscription because I seemed to be the only one they liked to bite! Lucky duck aren't I!
